Jump doesn't kill a drone (sentry)

So when I played mechar.io, I used jump to kill drone but the drone didn't get killed or even get damaged, is it a bug or is it intentional?

I've killed plenty with the stun...jump...melee thingy. Spacebar, right? 


Honestly, what is it called?
